New—Historical Pepperell Mill Tour
**Contractual program**
When: Friday, May 18 (1st Bus) or Friday, June 8 (2nd Bus)
Where: Biddeford, ME
Times: Bus leaves back left side Quest Fitness parking lot at 9:00am and returns approx 2:00pm
Cost: $20/participant; includes: driver, transportation & guided tour: tour fees go back to upkeep of the Mill
IMPORTANT NOTES: **Wear your walking shoes for this 90 minute walking tour that will also involve some stairs. For safety reasons no open toed shoes are allowed on the tour.** Walk to Lunch after the tour to your choice of restaurants all within a 2 minute walk from the Pepperell Mill. (Chinese, Thai, Burgers, Portland Pie Company or Run of The Mill)

This historical tour are guided by former mill workers who are passionate about Pepperell and know the history of these incredible buildings. Discover the details about the textile industry and the contributions made by local mill workers from the 1840’s to 2009. The tour will provide access to the unique underground canals and will include discussions of the early history, growth, technology, products, war efforts, immigration, community impact, world wide prominence and cultural diversity.
