Your Downeast Clambake adventure begins with a scenic narrated cruise of Boothbay Harbor aboard the Bennie Alice, en route to 5½ acre Cabbage Island in Linekin Bay. There, a succulent feast of Maine lobsters and clams with all the traditional fixins awaits.
Guests are treated to a cup of steaming fish chowder, two lobsters, one pound of fresh steamer clams, corn on the cob, potato, onion, egg, and our famous blueberry cake. They also serve roasted half chickens in lieu of lobster for those who prefer a poultry option. Included with each meal is coffee, tea, iced tea, and water.
Cabbage Island has been the home of traditional clambakes since 1956, and your hosts, the Moore family, cordially welcome you to experience this Downeast tradition!
