Have you ever yearned to see your written words appear in a magazine or newspaper? Perhaps you have an idea for a book. Join in this class where you’ll learn vital skills and techniques that make your feature article effective and inspiring. You’ll discover: how to fashion important lead sentences that “hook” your readers; why you use quotes to add personality to your writing; where to highlight important details to build credibility; when to “paint” creative descriptions to add drama to your message – plus what writing blunders to avoid. Bring your laptop or writing tools and let the magic begin.

Instructor: Steve Hrehovick
In addition to his recent book Rebel Without A Clue – A Way-Off Broadway Memoir, Steve has had more than 800 feature articles appear in newspapers, magazines and business publications. Among them are personal profiles, historical events, art exhibits, theater reviews and humorous personal accounts. In addition, he has written movie scripts, comedy stage plays, musical revues and a comedy television travel show featured on the Maine Public Broadcasting Network. He also writes poetry and is working on a musical comedy. He’ll use this writing experience to help you develop your writing skills. website:www.KennebunkArtStudio.com.
