NEW- “Music In the Museum”: Performance by a Portland Symphony Orchestra Chamber Musician
& Guided Tour of Colby College Museum of Art
When we first arrive we will enjoy a guided tour through the Colby College Museum of Art. Then from noon to 1pm we will enjoy “Music in the Museum.”Organized by the Music Department at Colby, this program features late 19th-century works by Gabriel Fauré, Benjamin Britten, and Jean Françaix by local and regional musicians who perform in the Museum’s galleries. All three works were written while the composers were young men nearing the apex of their creative genius. After we will enjoy a late lunch, destination TBA .

WHERE: Colby College Museum of Art, Waterville, ME
TIMES: Bus leaves back left side Quest Fitness parking lot at 9:15am & returns approx 4:30pm
