Youth Basketball League (Grades 3/4 & 5/6)

Indoor Basketball Hoop
At the 3rd through 6th grade level, there will be a 75-minute combined practice and game slot, once a week. Practices/games will take place on weeknights and Saturdays. The last game day of the season will be used as a make-up, if needed, or a round robin. Schedule changes are possible throughout the season.     

Parent volunteers are needed to coach/assist within the program.

Please note that that in order to participate in this program, students must attend RSU 21. 

WHEN: Beginning week of 11/29/21 (no program 12/25, 1/1, 1/17) practice/game days will be determined by your child's coach and gym availability.

WHERE: Sea Road School OR Mildred L. Day School Gym

TIME: TBA

COST: $80/participant; includes reversible game tank

We are very pleased to have access to the schools for winter youth basketball.  We are working with RSU 21 regarding facility use rules for winter sports.

Please note, at this time we do not know if spectators will be allowed.  We will be required to follow suit if MSK and KHS Athletics do not allow spectators for indoor winter sports. 

We will be following Covid-19 protocol for youth athletics that mirrors MSK and KHS athletics protocol, which is expected to be in line with statewide MPA guidelines. These rules may require masking during indoor sports for athletes in middle school and high school throughout the state.  We will be taking attendance for players and coaches, and requiring sign-in from spectators for contact-tracing purposes.
