Have you ever wanted to go on an investigation for Bigfoot? DUH. Wondered what it takes to build a yacht? Of course! Dreamed of kayaking the Scarborough Marsh? Absolutely.
Have you ever wondered how much you could explore in just a day? Well with Kenn-X-Peditions, participants will surely find out!
These camps will take you on adventures that will stick with you for a lifetime!

Each week we will traverse the coast, mountains, forests, and cities in pursuit of unique and wonderful parts of Maine based on that week's theme.

NATURAL WONDERS WEEK
Center for Wildlife, Maine Wildlife Park, Scarborough Marsh & Audubon Center, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens
WHEN: Monday, June 27th - Thursday, June 30th
TIMES: 9:00AM - 3:00PM
COST: $160/participant
To kick the summer off, we are getting OUTDOORS. We will travel to the Center for Wildlife to tour the Nature Center and outdoor enclosures. Then we're off to Maine Wildlife Park and will explore Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge time permitting. Be prepared to get out on the water the next day, as we will be kayaking through the Scarborough Marsh! After making our way through the Marsh, we'll catch our breath at the Audubon Center. To finish off the week, we'll trek northward to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens to hit the gardens and trails.

WORLD OF DESIGN WEEK
The Landing School, Board & Brush, Waterfall Arts, Wilbur's Chocolate
WHEN: Monday, July 11th - Thursday, July 14th
TIMES: 9:00AM - 3:00PM
PRICE: $195/participant
Focusing on all things design, we first head to the Landing School of Boat Building & Design to take a peak at the craftsmanship that goes into building them! It's then off to Portsmouth, NH the next day to Board & Brush where participants sand and stain their own custom designs! The following day, we will be visiting Wilbur's Chocolate for a tour and workshop, sweet treats included, and return to Kennebunk to craft our own models. FINALLY, we will have an entire day engaging with glassblowers from Waterfall Arts!

WILD WATER WEEK
First Chance Whale Watch, Sebago Lake, Seacoast Science Center, Coastal Encounters
WHEN: Monday, July 18th - Thursday, July 21st
TIMES: 9:00AM - 3:00PM
COST: $215/participant
At the start of the week, we will board with First Chance Whale Watch, spending the day spotting coastal marine wildlife. The next day, after jumping ship, we make our way to Sebago Lake! Here, we'll kayak the lake and various canals before enjoying lunch on a private beach! The adventure continues the next day, as we trek to the Seacoast Science Center in Rye, NH. We will participate in a Marine Mammal Rescue program and explore Odiorne Point State Park. On Thursday, we join Coastal Encounters for a tide-pooling excursion at Kennebunk Middle Beach! 


A LEGEND-ARY WEEK
MackWorth Island, Cryptozoology Museum, Wood Island Lighthouse, Salem Witch Museum, Maine Bigfoot Society

WHEN: Monday, July 25th - Thursday, July 28th
TIMES: 9:00AM - 3:00PM

COST: $230/participant
Come join us as we jump into the strange and mysterious lore of Maine. We start with a trip to MackWorth State Park, where we will walk the island to the enchanted fairy houses. Then, we're off to the International Cryptozoology Museum to explore the hidden and unknown! The following day we sail off to Wood Island, where we will climb the lighthouse and hear of hauntings, shipwrecks, and rescues! On Wednesday, we travel down to Massachusetts to visit the Salem Witch Museum. On our final day, we will go on an investigation with the Maine Bigfoot Foundation in search of the illusive creature. 

"FARM FROM ORDINARY" WEEK
Carlisle Academy @ Spring Creek Farm
WHEN: Mon. Aug 8th / Wed. Aug. 10th / Fri. Aug 12th
TIMES: 9:00AM - 3:00PM
COST: $300/participant
Join Kennebunk Parks & Recreation in collaboration with Carlisle Academy for a week of stewarding animals, farm, and nature! We will be on a working farm where we will immerse ourselves in sensory-rich educational experiences. Each day there will be natural, hands-on activities including caring for livestock, horse grooming, garden tending, bee keeping, soil science, and plenty of nature walks! At the end of the week, time permitting, we will possibly do some riding with the horses.



*Participants are required and expected to bring their own snacks, hats, sunscreen, lunch, and water bottles for each day of camp.
