Dinosaur Discoveries
Calling all young paleontologists grades K-5! Join Mousam River STEM Academy for an exciting four-week journey back to the Age of Dinasours. Through hands-on STEM activities, children will discover how scientists study dinosaurs and uncover secrets of prehistoric life.
Students will have the opportunity to touch and examine real fossils, learn how scientists classify dinosaurs as carnivores and herbivores, discover the unique ways different dinosaurs defended themselves, and explore how paleontologists piece together clues about the past.
Program Information
- Participants will leave for Mousam River Stem Academy promptly and directly from KES and SRS with a member of the Parks & Recreation Department.
- 4:30pm parent pick-up will be at Mousam River Stem Academy: 1013 Old North Berwick Rd, Alfred, ME 04002
