Fall Foliage Cruise
Embark on a 2 hour guided fall foliage scenic adventure along the Damariscotta River, renowned as the Oyster Capital of Maine. Our Oyster Farms & Fall River Cruise is a two-hour guided tour that offers a captivating blend of natural beauty and rich maritime heritage, famous for its delicious Damariscotta River oysters.
 
As we cruise, you’ll see eight thriving oyster farms that cultivate the famed Damariscotta River oysters, along with the stunning autumn landscape where maple leaves turn vibrant hues. Watch for seals, migratory birds, majestic bald eagles, and ospreys flying above.
More than just the maple leaves are turning colors on the River. Autumn is a busy season for oyster farmers as they plant seed oysters and prepare for winter. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the fascinating life cycle of oyster farming.
 
Captain Chip will regale you with local history, natural lore, and tales of his own life on the Damariscotta River, making this cruise an educational adventure. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture the scenic views and playful wildlife!
