Karate For Kids - Karate For Kids This program will enhance your child's physical fitness as well as train them in a martial art and all the techniques involved. This training will assist them to become more fit, more confident & more self disciplined. It will teach them the importance of perseverance and what it means to respect themselves and others. It will also give them tools to develop leadership skills which will be an asset to themselves and their community.

Ever feel that your life is out of control?....then carve out a few hours a week to regain that control!Skip Welton (8th degree master belt) and Richard Lagarde (5th degree master belt) invite you to join classes in the Korean style of Karate; Tang Soo Do.THE BALANCE...-Your commitment to learn a completely new discipline (form of movement and conditioning) that will transport you from your present day mundane state to one of a "cat-like balance and reflexes."-Can help you put your mind and body into the place where you're completely focused on your inner self and outside pressures melt away.-Your commitment to time and openness to new movement, and we commit to showing you the way that has truly helped us keep a balance in all aspects of our lives. Kennebunk Winter Cheer Club - Winter Cheer Join us for another season of Kennebunk Youth Cheer! Bring your energy, spirit, and smiles to the ice! This fun and engaging program introduces participants to the fundamentals of cheerleading — including basic motions, jumps, chants, and simple routines — in a positive and supportive environment.
Throughout the season, participants will build confidence and teamwork while preparing for an exciting final performance during a Maine Mariners hockey game at the Cross Insurance Arena!
No experience is necessary — just bring your enthusiasm, team spirit, and commitment! Participants will receive a cheer uniform, pompoms and bow, and get the unforgettable experience of performing in front of a live crowd at a professional hockey game.
Tickets for the Mariners’ game will be sold at a discounted rate through Kennebunk Parks & Recreation so please join us as we watch the squad take the ice!
